Change is no Stranger to Anyone

ChangeChange is no stranger to anyone. It is as natural as fish are to water. When facing a challenge due to change beyond one’s control, it is not unusual to get stymied. In the confusion of change, the absence of security, the loss contained conjures an unknown future which can fill the mind unmercifully with fear.

One of the popular acronyms for FEAR is “False Evidence Appearing Real.” Another is “Failure Expected and Received.”

Naturally it makes sense to know fear in a way that protects you from danger; such as fear of injury to your hand if you put it in fire, or fear of being injured or killed by walking in front of a moving automobile.

Fear taken to the point of predicting ominous outcomes due to unwelcomed loss only welcomes more loss. Gandhi said that “We thus find that all fear is the baseless fabric of our own vision.”

We all have fears - and we can all work through them - what are your fears about career transition or stepping up to your leadership role? Do you need help working through your fears and designing change you can be proud of? I can help you - email me! I love hearing from you and would be honored to help you achieve your goals!
