Today's Leadership Pointer

The ability to let go of mundane activities is much like somedays that take up energy. When spending time responding to another's emergency, such as emails or phone calls, you take away from your priority.

This action turns your project into not important and gets filed in the 'someday' category.

Leaders are dreamers of something bigger than themselves. They also have a myriad of ideas and may have difficulty in sorting them out, which can lead to 'no action' due to overwhelm.

Constructive, creative ideas left to someday is not fair to the world. It is a good thing Edison, Bell, Ford, Mozart and more put their somedays aside and followed their passion.

1. What are the visions you have in the 'someday' status?
2. What is it you keep doing by rote, which has little significance?
3. What leadership role do you want to develop?
4. What are your 'todays?'
