Today's Tip: Change Requires New Thinking

New Thinking"It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power." - Alan Cohen (contributing writer for the New York Times #1 bestselling series Chicken Soup for the Soul)

Change requires new thinking.

New thinking requires retraining your mind to develop higher standards emerging from your values.

Retraining your mind requires willingness to grow in self-awareness to follow your inner path and actualize it externally.

Meditate, or whatever you need to do, in order to stop your busy monkey mind so you can get in touch with the peace within that is always available.

  1. You are so right TM! When we meditate or find some other way to quiet the mind, we open ourselves to other levels of consciousness. Then we can feel into what that new perception might be. Without that, we are trying to create change for ourselves from the same perspective with the same perceptions of the consciousness that created our current state of affairs. That's where the leap of faith comes in. Keep 'em coming!
