Abraham Lincoln - Being On Purpose

“Adhere to your purpose and you will soon feel as well as you ever did.  On the contrary, if you falter, and give up, you will lose the power of keeping any resolution, and will regret it all your life.”—Abraham Lincoln (letter to Quintin Campbell)

There is magic that comes alive when you listen to your heart. The obstacle is that most individuals don’t know how to listen to their hearts. We have been taught since children what is right, what is wrong, what is good for us, what isn’t good for us by well meaning adults.
These lessons and beliefs from our upbringing become our own with various shades of discernment. They show up disguised and altered, but unless there is intention to evolve your potential, you run the same belief and action tapes over and over again producing from what you already know and not from possibility.

Tips to Listen for Being on Purpose

  • Listen to the advice President Lincoln gave to West Point cadet Quintin Campbell as quoted above.  Don’t spend time regretting.  Spend time developing your purpose.

Remember – Anything is possible and you are the possibility of making it happen.
